Our senior instructors boast over 30 years of dedicated training, accumulating a collective experience exceeding 100 years. What sets them apart is their extensive training with renowned figures in the karate world, such as Kanazawa Sensei, Enoda Sensei, and many of the highest-ranking British instructors from the past three decades.
Their wealth of experience allows them to impart invaluable knowledge to students, facilitating the development of individual karate skills. As students progress through the ranks, from beginner to black belt and beyond, our instructors guide and nurture their growth.

Colin Needham

Phil Dellar
I have been privileged to train with Red Sun throughout my Karate journey. The club's philosophy has remained consistent, fostering students' growth rather than restricting it, and encouraging members to forge their own paths. Find out more here.

Kirk Robertson
Sensei Robertson started training in 1975 in Kitwe, Zambia under South African 3rd Dan Sensei Spike Hovelmeier. He took a break in training from 1979 while attending University, serving in the British Army Reserve and work commitments at adidas until 1989. Find out more here.
