Training Times & Locations

Red Sun Karate train at several locations in the Manchester area.

Training is held at our dojo (Honbu Dojo) and is located at:

Red Sun Karate Dojo
c/o The Walkden Community Hub, Holyoake Road, Walkden, Manchester, M28 3DL

This is very close to the main Walkden Train station.

Parking is available directly outside on the road, but this limited and we ask that everyone is considerate to local residents when parking outside the building.

Training times at the Honbu Dojo are as follows:

Monday : 7.00-8.30pm
Wednesday : 7.00-8.30pm

Mixed class open to all grades and abilities.

Pricing

The following is a brief outline of the cost for training.

Compared to most activities karate is very good value for money. The Instructors at Red Sun Karate are volunteers and are still as passionate about training and teaching karate as when they themselves first started training.

Annual Membership Fee

The annual membership fee for Red Sun Karate is £25.00

Training Fees

Monthly training fees are as follows…
Juniors (Age 13) - £25.00
Seniors - £35.00 (this is for unlimited training)

Red Sun Karate also have a discount scheme for family members, please get in touch for further details.

Training fees shall be reviewed annually.

WTKO Annual License Fee

The annual licence fee for World Traditional Karate Organization is £25.00

Grading Fees

Grading fees: £25.00

Students passing their grading examination will be provided with a certificate and a new belt.

Dan Grade Examinations are set by the WTKO - prices will be confirmed 1 month prior to any Dan Grading Examination.

Grading fees shall be reviewed annually.

Karate Uniform

A Standard (Student) Karate Uniform (Do-Gi) is £30.00
A Superior Heavyweight Uniform (Do-Gi) is £60.00
